140 million in financing for Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel arranged by HFF

The Boston office of HFF (Holliday Fenoglio Fowler, L.P.) announced today that it arranged $140 million in financing for the recently-opened Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel in Boston’s vibrant Seaport District.

Working exclusively on behalf of Loeb Partners Realty, HFF senior managing directors Riaz Cassum and Michael Tepedino (HFF New York), along with director Greg LaBine, placed a $90 million acquisition loan with Deka Bank and a $50 million mezzanine loan with Fillmore Capital Partners. Loeb Realty Partners is a privately-held real estate company with a current portfolio of more than 15 million square feet of income producing real estate.

Completed in the spring of 2008, the Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel has 471 guest rooms including 21 suites and more than 21,000 square feet of meeting space with a 10,700-square-foot ballroom and a 4,400-square-foot junior ballroom. The 21-story hotel has 8,248 square feet of indoor recreation space, 5,925 square feet of food and beverage areas and 1,581 square feet of retail. Guests will have access to a spa with indoor lap pool, Jacuzzi, exercise room and roof deck. Located directly east of Boston’s Financial District, the hotel is in close proximity to the new Boston Convention & Exhibition Center, downtown Boston and Logan International Airport.
