Iberiabank Announces Birmingham Chairman

IBERIABANK (www.iberiabank.com), the 123-year-old subsidiary of IBERIABANK Corporation, is pleased to announce the naming of W. Charles Mayer III as Chairman of the Birmingham Advisory Board. Mayer has also formally joined the Company and will be working closely with local Executive leadership in executing strategic growth initiatives.

Mayer is a former executive with AmSouth Bancorporation and Regions Financial Corporation. He served as Head of the General Banking Group for AmSouth and Executive Council member and Head of Business Services for Regions. He joined AmSouth in 1979.

Mayer has been actively involved in the community in numerous capacities. Currently, he is on the Board of Children's Hospital in Birmingham; a Trustee for the University of the South, Sewanee, Tennessee; a Trustee of the Endowment of the Episcopal Diocese of Alabama; and an Advisory Board Member for Pre-School Partners. He has also served as Chairman of the Birmingham Regional Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of the Birmingham Metropolitan Board, board member of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama, and Board of the Birmingham Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta.
